Shop & Support through gift cards: The Shop and Support program helps to raise funds for HLUC by supporters (Congregation members, friends and family) purchasing gift cards/certificates for over 120 retailers. You can purchase cards/certificates for everday items such as groceries, gasoline, restaurants, clothing, and entertainment, every purchase raising money for HLUC. These cards make great gifts (Birthday, Christmas, etc) and are also helpful when donating to HLUC's own Helping Hearts (local Food Bank). Orders are placed every couple of weeks before Sunday at 5:00 PM and the order is delivered that Friday morning.

HLUC has a softball team: The team is comprised of male and female members of the church, aged 14 and older, their family and friends. We play 15 games during the regular season, usually starting mid-May and playing until late August. Included in the player fees is an end-of-season Tournament and a BBQ, with corn on the cob, hamburgers and soft drinks.... All in all, a pretty good deal for $40!
Games are played Wednesday nights and the Tournament is played at Gellert Recreation Centre in Georgetown.
